Check your ad image dimensions
Pick an image, pick a placement. The tool reads the file's real dimensions and compares them with the platform's published requirement, line by line.
Requirements come from Meta Ads Guide.
Choose an image and its measurements — plus the comparison with your placement — appear here.
Dimensions sorted. What about the rest of the creative?
Mecrio produces the same creative at the right size for each platform, writes the copy and gets it ready to publish.
Mecrio is in early access right now: leave your details and we will get in touch when your turn comes.
What this checker measures and what it does not
It compares one file against one placement's published requirement. It does not tell you a campaign is ready to run.
What this tool does
- Reads the file's real width, height, ratio, type and size.
- Puts each measured value next to the platform's own requirement.
- Keeps the recommended size separate from the hard minimum.
What it does not do
- It cannot say your ad will be approved: content and policy review do not happen here.
- It does not validate a whole campaign: targeting, budget and copy are out of scope.
- It does not edit, crop or regenerate the image — it only measures.
About checking ad dimensions
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened inside your browser and measured there; nothing remains once you close the page.
My ratio is off by a few pixels — will the ad be rejected?
Platforms publish a ratio tolerance and the tool applies that exact number. Outside it, a file is usually cropped or refused; the result says which tolerance was used.
What is the difference between recommended and minimum?
Below the minimum a file is refused; the recommended size is the resolution that looks best. Missing the recommendation does not stop the ad, but a small file can look soft on a phone.
Where the numbers on this page come from
All of them from the platform's own documentation. Follow the link and read the same line yourself.
