Set up and manage Facebook and Instagram ads from one place

Set up your Facebook, Instagram and Messenger ads in one campaign: the campaign, ad set and ad are created paused in your own Meta account. Settings Meta would reject show up before you publish.

When is Meta Ads a good fit, and when isn't it?

Meta ads show in Facebook and Instagram feeds, Stories and Reels, and also in Messenger, on Facebook Marketplace and on Instagram's Explore page. People aren't searching for anything at that moment; they're scrolling. That makes Meta strong for reaching people who don't know your product yet and for showing a product that's easy to explain with an image or a short video. You describe the audience by country, city, age, gender, language and Meta's own interest and behavior options; interests come from what people post, the Pages they like and the apps they use. You can set up single-image, video and carousel ads, as well as lead ads whose form is filled in right inside Meta. When Meta isn't the right fit: you can't tie an ad to search keywords. If people already search for what you sell and you want to appear at that exact moment, a search ad on Google or Microsoft is the better place to start.

How Meta Ads works in Mecrio

Mecrio builds Meta's own structure: the campaign (your objective), the ad set (audience, budget, schedule and where the ad appears) and the ad (image or video, text and button). When you approve, all three are created together in your own Meta ad account, on behalf of the Facebook Page you choose. Everything is created paused, so nothing spends until you start it. After launch you can change the budget, end date, audience and ad text from Mecrio, and pause or restart the campaign; each change is updated on Meta. When the ad text changes, Meta reviews the ad again.

How it works

A Meta Ads campaign in four steps

01

Set up

Tell Mecrio about your product or service and Mecrio AI drafts the copy and audience for you to edit and approve. Create visuals in Mecrio or use your own.

02

Check and approve

Mecrio checks your ads before they go live and tells you if anything is missing or needs a fix. You preview how they'll look on each platform and approve when you're ready.

03

Publish

Once approved, your campaign is set up in your own ad account on each platform and waits until you start it. You decide where and when it goes live.

04

Manage

Bring in the campaigns already running on your platforms. Update budgets, dates and targeting while they're live, and compare results in one report.

Which campaign objectives can you set up?

What gets checked for Meta Ads before you publish?

A setting the platform won't accept is named before the campaign is created, along with where to fix it.

  • A campaign with a daily budget has to run for more than 24 hours; Meta would reject a shorter schedule, so you're told before publishing and asked to move the end date.
  • If you target desktop only but also pick places that only show on phones, like Instagram or Stories, Meta won't accept it; the conflict is named before you publish.
  • A radius around a city must be 17–80 km (10–50 miles); a number outside that range isn't quietly moved to the limit — you're told before the campaign is created.
  • Facebook's right column doesn't show ads for awareness or app promotion objectives; Meta may accept that choice and never deliver there, so it's flagged before you publish.
  • In Facebook in-stream video ads, only the first 15 seconds play on desktop; if you picked that spot and your video is longer, you're told before you publish.
Questions

Meta Ads: frequently asked questions

Whose account is the campaign created in?

Yours: your own Meta ad account. The campaign, ad set and ad are created paused, nothing spends until you start them, and you pay Meta directly for your ads.

What if my budget is below Meta's minimum daily budget?

When you publish with a daily budget, Mecrio reads your ad account's own minimum daily budget from Meta. If your budget is below it, Mecrio stops before creating anything and tells you the amount needed.

Do I need a Facebook Page?

Yes. Meta runs ads on behalf of a Facebook Page. If no Page is selected, Mecrio stops before creating the campaign and tells you where to pick one.

Can I change the campaign objective later?

No. Meta doesn't allow changing the objective of a campaign that already has an ad set. For a different objective, you set up a new campaign.

Can I change the Meta pixel after the ad set is live?

No. Meta doesn't allow changing the pixel or the result it measures (such as a purchase) once the ad set is published, so Mecrio shows that setting as locked. To change it, you need a new ad set.
