Work out your advertising metrics
Cost per click, cost per thousand impressions, cost per acquisition, click-through rate, return on ad spend and conversion rate — all six on one screen, each showing which denominator it used.
Shows what one click costs you on average.
Both numbers should cover the same period and the same currency.
Spend ÷ clicks
The result is in the same currency as the numbers you entered.
Tired of collecting these numbers by hand?
Mecrio gathers results from your connected ad accounts in one place and works the same metrics out for you.

You bring the numbers, the tool does the maths
It runs standard arithmetic on the two numbers you type and shows the formula it used. It does not connect to an ad account.
What this tool does
- Works out the six basic metrics from the same kind of input.
- Shows the denominator and the formula on screen.
- When the denominator is zero it says so instead of inventing a number.
What it does not do
- It gives no benchmark: it will not say whether a number is good or bad.
- It does not connect to an ad account, pull data or build reports.
- It does not convert currencies: keeping both numbers in the same one is up to you.
About these metrics
What is conversion rate divided by?
By clicks here. Some reports divide by impressions instead, which produces two different numbers under one name — so the formula is shown on screen.
Does return on ad spend show profit?
No. It compares revenue with ad spend; cost of goods, shipping and fees are not in it.
Which period should the numbers come from?
Both from the same period and the same currency. Numbers from different periods produce a result that looks right and means nothing.
