See what your ads bring to your site
Connect Google Analytics to see visits to your site and the key actions people take there, campaign by campaign, next to each ad platform's own results.
What you see in Mecrio
Visits to your site
Visits, engagement rate, key actions and revenue; where visitors came from and the pages where visits start.
Each campaign's results on your site
On the campaign page, the ad platform's conversions sit next to the key actions on your site; the two are measured differently and never added up.
Campaigns are tied automatically
Campaigns you publish from Mecrio are tied to your site's visits through the tracking tag added to the ad link; if Google Analytics is linked to Google Ads, Google campaigns are tied through that link.
Mecrio AI knows your site results
When you ask the AI Agent about a campaign, it also reads the visits and key actions on your site, and never mixes them up with the ad platform's conversions.
How to connect
Connect with your Google account
You connect from the Google Analytics card on the Accounts page. Mecrio asks only for read access and changes nothing in your account.
Choose your site
The sites you can access in that account are listed, and the one that matches your project's website is suggested. Once you choose, past data is fetched automatically.
See it in your reports and campaigns
The data shows up in its own tab on the Reports page and on the Overview. It's never added to your ad results; it sits next to them.
What it touches, and what it doesn't
- Only read access is requested; nothing changes in your Google account.
- You can disconnect at any time; its data in Mecrio is deleted immediately.
- The numbers are Google's own measurements and are never added to your ad platforms' results.
Questions
What's a key action?
Actions marked as important in Google Analytics; some, like a purchase, are marked by default. Google Analytics calls them “key events”.
Why is it different from the ad platform's conversions?
Ad platforms count conversions by their own rules; Google Analytics credits a key action to the campaign that started the visit. They don't measure the same thing, so Mecrio shows them side by side and never adds them up.
How fresh is the data?
Google Analytics can take 24–48 hours to finish processing data, and the numbers may change in that time. Mecrio marks the days that aren't final yet.
What happens if I disconnect?
Mecrio deletes its Google Analytics data and access details immediately. You can also remove the permission in your Google Account settings.
