Where native ad managers are stronger
- Built by the platform. Meta describes Ads Manager as an all-in-one tool for creating ads, managing when and where they run and tracking performance. LinkedIn calls Campaign Manager its self-service ad management tool, and TikTok calls Ads Manager its end-to-end ads platform.
- No waiting for support. A native manager comes from the platform itself, so it does not depend on a third-party tool adding a new campaign type or setting. Mecrio supports a defined set of campaign types per platform, and some live settings can only be edited in the platform's own manager.
- Nothing extra to adopt. If you advertise on a single platform, its own manager may be all you need, with no further tool to connect, learn or pay for.
- Apps on your phone. Meta offers an Ads Manager app for iOS and Android, so you can create and edit ads, track results and manage budgets and schedules on the go.
Where Mecrio adds something
- One place for nine platforms. You connect each ad account once through the platform's own sign-in, then set up and manage Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, Microsoft Advertising, Pinterest, Reddit, Snapchat and X from one panel.
- One brief, platform-specific ads. The campaign you approve is created on each platform you choose, and each platform gets its own ad type.
- Checks before publishing. Text limits, media sizes and platform rules are flagged before anything goes live, instead of one rejection at a time in each manager.
- One report across platforms. Results are calculated with one set of formulas, metrics that cannot be added up, such as reach, are not summed, and Google Analytics 4 and Search Console can sit next to your ad data.
- An AI that asks first. Mecrio AI, built on Anthropic's Claude, answers questions with your own campaign data and prepares changes. Nothing changes until you approve.
- Built for teams and agencies. Each brand or client gets its own project, with team roles and an activity log that shows who changed what.
Your campaigns stay native
Mecrio does not replace your ad accounts. Campaigns are created paused in your own ad account on each platform, and you pay each platform directly. You can still open and edit them in the platform's own manager, existing campaigns can be imported into Mecrio, and if you disconnect a platform, the campaigns you published stay in your ad account.
Who should choose which
Stay with the native managers if you advertise on one or two platforms, rely on campaign types or settings that Mecrio does not support yet, or prefer working directly in each platform's own tools.
Add Mecrio if you run campaigns on several platforms, want problems caught before publishing, and need one report that compares platforms fairly. Many teams will use both: Mecrio for day-to-day setup and reporting, the native manager for the settings only it offers.
